MILWAUKEE, May 5 (AScribe Newswire) -- Students in a new University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee program to develop more American Indian teachers are looking forward to serving as role models, breaking stereotypes and sharing their history and culture with future generations.

The 14 students are involved in UWM's Urban American Indian Teacher Training Program, designed to recruit and develop American Indian teachers.
