The former Gauley Bridge police chief now serving a 61-year prisonsentence for molesting boys is continuing his campaign to overturnhis conviction.
On Wednesday, Lee E. Jones asked the U.S. District Court inCharleston to throw out his 1999 sexual assault and sexual abuseconvictions. The request comes about four months after a FayetteCircuit judge refused to reconsider the convictions.
