NEW YORK -- Supporters of staging the 2012 Olympics in the New York City area released a 600-page report Thursday, detailing the $3.3 billion plan for games spreading from the Long Island suburbs to the New Jersey swamps.
The report, submitted to the U.S. Olympic Committee, details plans for sports venues, transportation, security, media, technology, hotel accommodations, environmental concerns, health care, culture, finance and marketing.
