(FRIDAY DECEMBER 29) A WINSLOW-BASED organisation is calling on residents to take part in its courses to help the environment.
The Low-Impact Living Initiative (LILI) is a non-profit organisation who aim to help people understand their impact on the planet, improve quality of life and teach new skills.
LILI was started in 2001 by director Dave Derby who came up with the idea after he returned to the UK from Romania and wanted to change people's perspectives about the environment.
Mr Derby said: "It's mainly a local project but it's really taken off since the Stern report and people want things like the solar hot water panels."
